Keep the board informed, protected, and on track by handling vital tasks related to records and documentation, insurance, contracts, and regulatory compliance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain official records and documentation of board meetings.
- Oversee insurance.
- Ensure compliance with bylaws, administrative requirements, and obligations under the BC Societies Act.
- Assist in organizing board meetings and agendas and communicating with board members.
- Collaborates on all MTBCO initiatives.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Project management.
- Knowledge of cloud-based software, e.g. Google Suite, Notion, and Slack.
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance.
- Strong record-keeping and organizational skills.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Organizational and administrative skills.
- Strong record-keeping and documentation abilities.
- Familiarity with insurance and contract management, particularly with BC Parks and other relevant parties
