Make an impact on the trails you ride and the community you love.
MTBCO is entering an exciting new chapter. With the merger of West Kelowna Trail Crew Society and Lake Country Riders joining MTBCO in 2024, we have an incredible opportunity to strengthen our community, advocate for mountain biking, and take our trails to the next level. But we need passionate, driven individuals to help steer this vision forward.
Our Board of Directors is made up of dedicated volunteers who work together to set strategic priorities, secure resources, and advocate for our members. Whether it’s collaborating with government, organizing trail projects, or growing our community, every Director plays a vital role in making mountain biking in our region more sustainable, inclusive, and accessible.
MTBCO can have up to 12 Board Directors elected by members at the Annual General Meeting (AGM). Vacancies may also be filled by appointment between AGMs. Each term lasts two years.
At the 2024 AGM, we have openings for up to four new Directors.
Two current Directors will be running for re-election.
We are looking for individuals who are excited to contribute their skills and ideas to help shape the future of mountain biking in our region.
